Being born in Scotland, growing up in Canada and living almost a decade in Mexico, Laurence brings a diverse background of musical influence to his music.

During the early to mid 1990’s, Laurence Roscoe was the front man vocalist and guitarist for several southern Ontario bands until 1995 when he joined forces with eight piece Canadian funk band “Congress”. Based out of Georgetown, Ontario, Congress moved on to open for established recording artists and headline local festivals. After parting ways with Congress, Roscoe founded and began solely operating Renaissance Sound Studios out of downtown Toronto, Canada. As recording engineer and producer, Laurence would go on to produce several artists’ recording projects and various commercial advertisements.

1997 brought Laurence back to performing live as he lent his guitar and vocal skills to Toronto based Brit-pop band “Speed Orchid”. He then went on to fill a temporary bass player position with Toronto based Ska band “Spinecracker”, formerly “Skaface”. After several small endeavors, Laurence hooked up with childhood friend / guitar teacher Jeff Getty. With the accompaniment of percussionist Mike Churchill, the Jeff Getty Band was formed. As bass player and backing vocalist, Roscoe and the Jeff Getty Band completed 2 albums in addition to headlining major venues, television appearances, and opening for the likes of Colin James and Sue Foley. Laurence has also provided back up for a variety of bands such as Romney Getty, Mark Ripp and the Confessors, and "Viva Los Chuyz" from Texas and is currently providing lead guitar and vocals for Rocky River and Company fronted by Rodney James Medwid.

With 3 albums under their belt, Roscoe GT continues to perform throughout Southern Ontario, Canada after focusing on a full scale radio campaign, in partnership with Howard Rosen Promotion of California, of over 600 CHR/Top 40/HotAC radio stations within the United States and specific Canadian stations. Howard Rosen successfully promoted many of the largest acts in the music business as Senior V.P. of Promotions at Casablanca, Elektra, Warner Brothers, Motown, and A&M Records from 1970-1985 and now as President of "Howard Rosen Promotion".
